What is a Tenerife Finca?
A "Finca" is a rural property, ranch, or farm in Spain or Spanish America. In general it consists of several cottages on a large plot. A genuine finca was formerly dedicated to agriculture. Today there are a lot of fincas that were built to meet modern tourists needs for an individually planned holiday trip. Fincas by nature are set in more rural areas and are a lot more private and secluded that the average holiday accommodation. They are obviously ideal for a true "get away from it all" experience but you are never too far away from the nearest town. All our fincas are indeed no more than 15 minutes drive from the the coast and the nearest beach.
